mt_ignoreAs 24 Heures reports, Harri Pesonen has extended his contract with his current club Lausanne HC for two more years and will thus stay with them until the end of the 2017-18 season.

The Finnish forward joined HC Lausanne in summer of 2014 and has since then appeared in 70 games for them. Last season, he was Lausanne's top scorer with 33 points (eleven goals, 22 assists). This season thus far, he has already scored eight goals.

Before joining Lausanne HC, the 27-year-old forward also tried his luck in North America. However, in his two seasons there, he spent most of his time playing for the New Jersey Devil's AHL affiliate. (bsc)
