NLA - Also in the future, Swiss sports-fans are allowed to use the regular trains on their way to road games of their team. Whereas the Federal Council called for a compulsory use of special trains, the National Council rejected this measure.


NATIONAL TEAM - As head coach Glen Hanlon tells the Tages Anzeiger, Cody Almond (Minnesota Wild, NHL) and Dan Fritsche (ZSC Lions) are both willing (and now eligible) to play for the Swiss national team in the future.


SHL -  Luleå Hockey has signed Dean Kukan for an additional year. Originally signed through 2015, the Swiss international will now stay with the Swedish Hockey League team until the end of the 2015/16 season.


NLA - With Daniel Bang and Colby Genoway out of the lineup, Lausanne HC had to react and find a temporary replacement for the two forwards. They thus sign Slovakian player Stefan Ruzicka to a one-month contract.


RUMOR - Anthony Huguenin's contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron will expire next summer and according to, SC Bern's team manager Sven Leuenberger would like to add him to their roster for the 2015/16 season.
