NHL - Mirco Müller, who made his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks in their season opener two weeks ago, seems to get the chance to stay with the NHL team for the entire season, Comcast Sportsnet reports.

While the 19-year-old will be a healthy scratch for the second straight game tonight against Columbus, Sharks' head coach Todd McLellan hinted today, that they do not intend to send Müller back to his junior team.

The Sharks would have the possibility to send the Swiss defenseman back to his junior team, the Everett Silvertips, without having to use up the first year of Müller's Entry-Level contract, if they do so before he has played ten NHL games. However, "Mirco's not going anywhere", McLellan said today.

Müller has so far played in five of the Sharks' seven games (averaging 18:36 TOI per game) and got his first career NHL assist in San Jose's 3-4 shootout loss to the New York Islanders last week.
