Diem is a product of the ZSC/GCK Lions organisation for which he has played almost his entire career. For the upcoming season, the 21-year-old signed a one-year contract with EHC Basel KLH in the first league. He is, however, in possession of an out clause for the two National Leagues.
In 186 games in the National League B so far, Diem has scored a total of 27 goals and added 38 assists for 65 points. (tme)
