The selection of the 40 prospects, which was posted on bmotopprospects.ca, participating in the game was made by all 30 NHL teams. This game will provide those draft eligible players from the Western Hockey League, the Ontario Hockey League and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of hundreds of NHL scouts.
Timo Meier has certainly earned himself this opportunity with a great sophomore season with the Halifax Mooseheads. So far, he has scored 46 points (21 goals, 25 assists) in 33 games for them and is projected to be a high second round draft pick or even a late first round pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
