Dennis Saikkonen called up to the Finnish Liiga for the playoffs

The 21-year-old Swiss-Finnish dual citizen and former youth player of SC Bern moved to the second Finnish division just before Christmas last year to play with JYP-Akatemia.

Thanks to his outstanding performances so far (seven victories in nine games, .943 save percentage and two shutouts), he got called up to the Finnish Liiga by JYP Jyväskylä. Saikkonen will reinforce the team during the playoffs and stay in Finland's top league until the end of the season.
