The 30-year-old forward has suffered an orbital floor fracture, which was caused last Saturday, when he was high-sticked by HC Ajoie's Stanislas Horansky.
The American will be out for several weeks, the exact timeframe is yet to be determined though. He will undergo further examinations this Friday.
