NATIONAL TEAM - After the last preparation game against Canada on Tuesday, one last defenseman will have to leave the team. Coach Sean Simpson has already informed Jérémy Kamerzin that he won't make the trip to Minsk.

According to a report from, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's defenseman Jérémie Kamerzin will be coach Simpson's last scratch. If no other defenseman gets injured, the 26-year-old won't be part of the Swiss national team at the World Championship in Minsk.

In addition, Sean Simpson decided that Colorado's Reto Berra will be Switzerland's starting goalie. Berra will also get the start in Tuesday's final preparation game against Canada. Also forward Sven Bärtschi, who is going to arrive in Zurich on Tuesday morning, will already hit the ice in the evening.
