Forster, who won an Olympic bronze medal, will start into her second season with Neuchâtel. “I always wanted to play for a top team”, she said. “The club gives me this opportunity with their reinforcements.” The 23-year-old defender will also practice weekly with the second league men’s team Delémont-Vallée.

With Andrea Brändli, Neuchâtel was able to secure the services of one of the best Swiss goaltenders. The 19-year-old was instrumental for the promotion of the U18 national team in 2014 with a save percentage of over 95 percent. At the World Championship in Kamloops Brändli was netminder number three behind Florence Schelling and Sophie Anthamatten. Brändli will also continue playing for her regular club Winterthur (Elite B). (dmo/mso)
