Although Yannick Weber's contract with the Vancouver Canucks is expiring at the end of the current season, it is doubtful that he actually is willing to return to Switzerland. His number one priority is, clearly, to earn himself another NHL-contract. Thus, Bern - or a return to Switzerland in general - would only be a last resort for him.
Also a return of Simon Moser, who has a running contract with SCB in Switzerland, seems to be rather unlikely. The 25-year-old forward is fighting for a spot in the Nashville Predators' roster. As the NZZ writes, he is probably willing to spend another year in the AHL to achieve his goal.
