RUMOR - With only two points in his last 15 outings, Lausanne HC's forward Juha-Pekka Hytönen is clearly not at his best. As a consequence, journalist Jérôme Reynard of 24 heures raises the question if Hytönen might already have moved on from LHC.

Sometimes it is because a player has already signed elsewhere that his performance slumps. "We're not supposed to talk about our contracts and I want to respect that," the 33-year-old answered upon 24 heures' request. "Even if that was the case, I would not allow myself to think about something other than LHC, which is my present."

At the beginning of October, Lausanne HC has reached out to the Finnish international with an offer to extend his contract. Already then, Hytönen said in an interview with 24 heures that it is not sure if he stays: "I'm 33 years old now and my career won't last forever. A return to Finland, a second experience in the KHL, or with another Swiss team are also options."
