The 28-year-old Norwegian center, whose contract with Frölunda HC is going to expire in April 2015, is rumored to leave Sweden after this season and move to KHL's Jokerit Helsinki instead. However, also Genève-Servette HC's team manager and head coach Chris McSorley seems to be strongly interested in him.

According to the same source, McSorley had taken notice of the Norwegian international during the two Champions Hockey League games against Frölunda earlier this year and would like to see him in the Grenats' jersey as of the upcoming season 2015-16.

With Frölunda HC this season so far, Olimb has completed a total of 27 games, in which he was able to score 25 points (6 goals, 19 assists).
