Victor Barbero is at the end of his contract with HCC and might thus leave them after two seasons. This year, the French forward has scored 28 points (eight goals, 20 assists) in 54 games.
As for Matthias Mischler, HC Ajoie made an offer to 20-year-old back-up Sascha Rochow and apparently hopes to be able to count on the services of EHC Biel's Elite A netminder Elien Paupe, 19, so they will not necessary need Mischler. The 24-year-old goaltender is still under contract with SC Bern, but played the majority of the season on loan with HC Ajoie. In 28 games for the Ajoulots, he posted a 2.58 GAA. (mso)
