RUMOR - It might be Michael Flückiger's last season in the Biancoblù's jersey. As La Regione reports, the club seems not to include the goaltender in their squad plannings for the upcoming season, despite a valid contract until 2016.

Furthermore, still according to the same source, Nolan Schaefer might make his return to the Leventina. The 31-year-old Canadian-Swiss goaltender, who is currently under contract with SC Bern as Marco Bührer's backup, seems to have received a concrete offer from HC Ambrì-Piotta.

Flückiger (photo) has appeared in a total of 13 games for the Biancoblù this season so far, in which he had a Goal-Against-Average (GAA) of 2.03 and and a .918 save percentage. (rlu)

UPDATE In an interview with Ticinonews, HCAP's coach Serge Pelletier refutes rumors about a possible return of Nolan Schaefer. "It seems a bit obvious, no imagination," he says and adds: "We have our eyes on a young and talented goalie for next season". (tme) - 02 March 2015, 5:41 PM
