NLA - Colby Genoway has made no secret around the fact that he only will stay with Lausanne HC, if he gets a more prominent role. With the signing of Nicklas Danielsson that has become highly unlikely, as one can read in 24 heures.

Since team manager Jan Alston has currently six import-players under contract, he will have to see how he manages his team in the upcoming season. However, he already has plans: "Like he already told the media and like he also told me in an individual conversation, Colby Genoway does not wish to go through another season as frustrating for him as the last one. Thus, we are going to help him to find a satisfying soultion."

Thus, the the 31-year-old forward's contract, which is still valid until the end of the 2015-16 season, would come of their books. As 24 heures suggests, the Canadian could be one of the two new import-players for the relegated Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.

Also, Alston has informed Daniel Bång that he will figure as fifth import-player next season and thus likely not get many chances to play: "I personally informed him about the new situation. He has to decide if he wants to begin the season with us as fifth import-player or if he would like to take his chances elsewhere." (mso)
