RUMOR - As Slovakian forward Michal Handzus tells sport.aktuality.sk in an interview, playing in Switzerland could be an option for him if he does not get an opportunity to present himself in an NHL camp this summer.

However, as Handzus explains, finding a job in Switzerland or Sweden, could prove difficult, as the teams are completing their rosters right now, while the 38-year-old is not yet ready to commit to a European team and wants to wait if he gets another chance to sign with an NHL team.

Michal Handzus has appeared in a total of 1126 NHL career games for six different teams between 1998 and 2014, scoring 529 points. Last summer the former Chicago Blackhawk returned to his home team HC Banska Bystrica where he played the past season in the Slovak Extraliga. (lcu)
