The 36-year-old forward will likely receive his Swiss passport in May 2016 and would thus no longer count against the import contingent, As the same source speculates, it is thus likely that they will offer him a two-year contract. As for now, Meunier would be their third import player on the roster for the upcoming season.

The captain of the French national team already played for HCC back in the 2010-11 season, scoring two goals and nine assists in seven games. However, he spent the last four years in the DEL, playing for the Straubing Tigers. Last season, Meunier put up five goals and 24 assists in 50 games. (mso)
