Rumor

mt_ignoreAs the Journal du Jura writes in today's edition, EHC Biel's team manager Martin Steinegger would like to add former EV Zug and SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers forward Robbie Earl to the team - as soon as possible.

As Steinegger says in an interview with the Journal du Jura, Earl's contractual situation is a problem: "As he is under contract with Färjestad, I don't think that we'll see him in Switzerland too soon."

The 30-year-old American left EV Zug at the end of the past season and joined Färjestad BK in the Swedish Hockey League. In 32 games so far, Earl put up six goals and 14 assists for a total of 20 points. (tme)

UPDATE Arlbrandt out, Earl in? As the Swedish newspaper Expressen reports, HV71 Jönköping is interested in adding forward Pär Arlbrandt already during the current season. This might make room for Robbie Earl on EHC Biel's roster and payroll. (tme) - 23 January 2016, 10:42 AM
