While ZSC Lions Wick and HC Davos' Beat Forster both have said no to Switzerland's new head coach, SC Bern's Martin Plüss wants to decide on a possible return after the end of this season.

Martin Plüss had announced his retirement from the national team in April of the past year. The 38-year-old had completed 239 games in the jersey of Switzerland since 2002, in which he recorded a total of 56 goals and 78 assists for 134 points and participated in four Olympic games (2002, 2006, 2010, 2014).
