At their annual general assembly, EHC Biel has presented a net profit of CHF 270,000.- with a turnover of CHF 14.8m for their very first season in the Tissot Arena. Furthermore, the club will get a new president in 2017.

Patrick Stalder, member of the Board of Directors since 2006, is set to take over EHC Biel's presidency from Andreas Blank as of the 2017-18 season. Blank for his part was elected president in 2003 and will thus resign after 14 straight years at the top of the club.

Moreover, as Lyndon Viglino from radio Canal 3 reports, the sale of season tickets is processing slowly. Up to now, the club has sold around 600 tickets less compared to the previous year.

In view of the 2016-17 season, the Seelanders will start into the new year with a bugdet of almost CHF 14 million and are aiming a spot in the middle of the standings at the end of the regular season. (rlu)
