Nilsson, who is in possession of a Swiss players' license, is currently playing his fifth straight season with the Lions, after he joined them from KHL's Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in 2013. Since then, the 32-year-old winger has appeared in 237 games for them, scoring 63 goals and 151 assists.
