Asked if money might be an issue between the two parties, Schläpfer, who is still getting paid by EHC Biel until the end of the season, states that money is not the most important part of the equation. His focus lies on the club's vision for the future.
"Do they really want to play without import players? Are they ready to have ambitious plans for the coming years? The answer to those questions might impact the progression of our discussion," Schläpfer says and adds that he is not sure when he will know for sure whether he will be Kloten's new coach or not.
