Genève-Servette HC to retire Philippe Bozon's number

Thus, Bozon's No. 12 will no longer be available for future GSHC players after the ceremony. The 49-year-old former forward was captain of that team that managed to win the NLB playoff final in the 2001-02 season against EHC Chur, which led to the Grenats' promotion to the NLA.

Bozon played five seasons for the Eagles, before he eventually retired in 2006. However, he remained within the organisation until 2009, serving as head coach of the U20 and the U17 team. He is currently the head coach of the Boxers de Bordeaux (Ligue Magnus).
