With Marc-Antoine Pouliot off the payroll, HC Fribourg-Gottéron is now able to sign a new import player. According to Le Matin, his name will be announced today or tomorrow.

Pouliot signed a contract with EHC Biel on Saturday and thus freed up the necessary budget for Christian Dubé, who has, according to the newspaper, already found a replacement for the Canadian.

The name of the new player is not yet known, but as Grégory Beaud writes, he has played in this year's World Cup in Toronto. Should Le Matin's timeline be correct, his identity will soon be revealed.
