As EHC Biel's team manager Martin Steinegger confirms to the Journal de Jura (relayed by SwissHabs), they have now started discussions with Stanislav Horansky's agent regarding a potential contract extension.

The 22-year-old forward's deal expires at the end of this season, but he would like to stay with the club. Horansky, who is in possession of a Swiss players' license, has been with EHC Biel since the 2013-14 season, but only joined the first team in the following season.

He has appeared in a total of 28 games with the Seelanders since he signed with the club. Mostly, he had played on loan with HC Ajoie in the past two seasons, winning the NLB championship with them last spring. In the 18 games for Biel this year, he has scored three goals and one assist.
