René Matte to replace Dino Stecher behind EHCB's boards?

As the Journal du Jura reports (relayed by SwissHabs), a possible successor of Dino Stecher is former HC Fribourg-Gottéron assistant coach René Matte. The 44-year-old has not had a job since he had to leave the Dragons at the end of 2014.

EHC Biel, however, is not in a hurry. According to the same source, team manager Martin Steinegger is planning on having a new assistant coach in place no earlier than at the beginning of the new year.
