SC Bern and the Canadian forward Andrew Ebbett (photo) will most likely extend their contract. Maxime Macenauer's time in Bern, on the other hand, seems to be over.

Whereas SC Bern has already expressed their interest in keeping Andrew Ebbett in Bern for longer than just the rest of the current season, now also the 34-year-old Canadian makes a clear statement about his future. "I want to stay," Ebbett says in an interview with the Berner Zeitung. According to the same source, a contract extension seems to be well underway.

On the other hand, Maxime Macenauer, whose temporary contract in Bern ran out yesterday, does not seem to have a future in the capital city. As the Berner Zeitung writes, SC Bern and the 27-year-old Canadian will most likely part ways today.
