The 30-year-old goaltender has to find a new home for the upcoming season, as with the acquirement of Sandro Zurkirchen, there is no more room for him in Lausanne. Should he indeed join the Bears as of next season, he would serve as back up for Leonardo Genoni.
Caminada has appeared in eight games for Lausanne HC this season thus far, posting a 0.895 save percentage. His contract with the Lions expires this spring.
