The former coach of the ZSC Lions will not return to Switzerland - at least not to HC Fribourg-Gottéron. As La Liberté writes, the 56-year-old coach of the Latvian national team is no longer in the race for Gottéron's head coaching job. According to the same source, three names remain.
One of these names is Mark French, as was already reported earlier. The 46-year-old Canadian is currently working as head coach of the Calgary Hitmen in the Western Hockey League (WHL). The other two names on the Dragons' list are not yet known.
