Fröhlicher and SC Langenthal dissolve contract by mutual agreement

"I was extremely comfortable in Langenthal, but i did not longer have the dominant role I desire," says the 34-year-old defenseman in a statement released by the club, citing this as one of the reasons of why he decided to talk to the staff.

Fröhlicher appeared in 148 games for SC Langenthal, scoring 15 goals and 45 assists. The defenseman signed an extension with the club in November 2014, which would have been valid until the end of this season.
