Since Silander serves as assistant coach of Greg Irleand in Lugano, the assistant position for HCB Ticino Rockets was still vacant. Now it is clear that Tomas Tamfal will take the position. The 50-year-old Czech was, since the beginning of this season, head coach of the Elite A juniors of HC Lugano.
Prior to that, Tamfal coached the EHC Kloten during the 2012-2013 season, and, a year later, he was head coach of the SCL Tigers. He was replaced in both teams by mid-season.
