In his first appearance with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning this season, former SC Bern forward Joël Vermin put up two assists and made his coach happy.

"Vermin was outstanding," Tampa's coach Jon Cooper praises the young Swiss forward in an interview with the Tampa Bay Times and with Vermin the work of his whole line. The 24-year-old was lined up alongside Jonathan Drouin and Cedric Paquette, who scored twice last night.

In spite of his good performance, the evening did not turn out to be an all-perfect NHL-comeback for Vermin. His Tampa Bay Lightning fell to the St. Louis Blues 4-5. It is their fourth straight loss - the longest dry-spell they have experienced so far in this season.

Last season, Vermin appeared in six games with the Tampa Bay Lightning and was able to put up one assists.
