As the Neue Zürcher Zeitung writes, the ZSC Lions have closed in on two names in their search for Edgar Salis' successor as team manager: Sven Leuenberger and Kloten's Pascal Müller.

While the Lions have led talks with Sven Leuenberger about the open position as team manager, the frontrunner for the job seems to be Pascal Müller, who is currently working as team manager for ZSC's rival EHC Kloten. The 38-year-old is not unknown in Zurich, as the former defenseman has suited up for the Lions between 2009 and 2011.

A contract between Müller and the Lions, however, has not been signed yet. Still according to the NZZ, the two clubs could not agree on the terms of Müller's move so far. Kloten apparently does not want to let their team manager go without receiving a financial compensation.
