Patrick Fischer, head coach of the Swiss national team, has very few centers at his disposal. A fact that leads him to ponder various options for the upcoming 2017 IIHF Worlds, the sda reports. First of all, a return of SC Bern's Martin Plüss is on the table. According to the same source, the 39-year-old at least did not exclude a possible comeback, recently. Plüss hasn't played a game for the national team since the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi.

In addition, Patrick Fischer also keeps an eye on top prospect Nico Hischier. The 17-year-old might make his debut for the Swiss national team already at the upcoming IIHF Worlds.
