Medical Report

Genève-Servette HC updated the general public on the injury situation of their roster. While several players are close to a return, others will miss quite some time.

Mattéo Détraz and Elliot Antonietti (photo) will definitely not be available for a long time. While Antonietti will be out at least two months, Détraz could be out of the lineup for even longer. As the young defenseman is suffering from a concussion, it is difficult to establish an exact timetable for his return.

As for Noah Rod and Daniel Rubin, both are assumed to have suffered fractures, but an MRI, which they will undergo this week, will reveal more about the exact nature of their injuries and how much time they are going to miss.

However, there are also some good news for the fans of the Grenats. While Jonathan Mercier (shoulder) is close to a return, Juraj Simek will not miss another game and is in the lineup for tonight's cup game. Mike Santorelli, for his part, will be able to hit the ice again this weekend.
