The 30-year-old defenseman took a hit to the head by HC Davos' Gregory Sciaroni in the 18th minute of play. He was not able to continue playing after that and had to get three stitches for a cut over his eyebrow. Sciaroni received a five minute major and a game misconduct penalty on the play. Morant has scored one assist in ten games thus far.
