Head coach Kari Jalonen later told Reto Kirchhofer (Berner Zeitung) that they would definitely play in the games against Lausanne HC and EHC Biel. Ebbett had sustained an injury in a CHL game against EHC Liwest Black Wings Linz in September and will thus play his first game of the regular season on Friday.
Rüefnacht, on the other hand, was injured in mid-September in a game against EHC Kloten and has been out ever since. In two games for the Bears this season, he has scored two assists.
