NLA - In an interview with Le Journal de Jura, EHC Biel's team manager Daniel Villard discusses the possible extension with the Canadian import player Eric Beaudoin after this season is done.

Villard tells the newspaper that there already had been discussions with the forward about his future with EHC Biel back In December, but that was before the 33-year-old had been sidelined with a concussion in early January.

These negotiations had since then not be continued, because managment felt that they needed a bigger sample size, before they would resign him for an additional season.

Now that Beaudoin has returned to the lineup, EHC Biel will take a close look on his play and if they are satisfied with what they will get out of the Canadian, they could offer him a contract.

Eric Beaudoin returned to EHC Biel after a short stint in the DEL with the Straubing Tigers (10 games). He had already been part of the organisation from 2010 until 2013. The forward scored 19 points in 24 games for EHCB.
