"Matt D'Agostini is a player I very carefully observed during the last season," Genève-Servette HC's coach Chris McSorley says and adds: "His top speed is very interesting. In addition, he's a true sniper and he will without a doubt be a threat to all goalies in the NLA."

D'Agostini, who signed a one-year contract until the end of the upcoming season with the Grenats, is looking forward to joining Geneva: "I am very excited about the idea of a new experience in Europe. My family is also very pleased to discover a new culture."

The 27-year-old forward has played a total of 328 games in the NHL over the course of his career. Over all these games for Montréal, St. Louis, New Jersey, Pittsburgh and Buffalo he has scored 53 goals and added 55 assists.
