NLA - As reported earlier today, HC Ambrì-Piotta confirms the signing of Adam Hall. They have agreed to a one-year contract with the now former Philadelphia Flyers forward. He will thus stay until the end of the 2014/15 season.

The 33-year-old American is decribed as a two-way center with a strong physical presence (1.91 m, 93 kg). He averaged a little under ten minutes a game with the Flyers last year, scoring ten points (four goals, six assists) in 87 games.

Hall has spent most of his career in the NHL. Drafted in the second round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators, Hall has since played 718 games in the NHL, scoring 166 points (76 goals, 90 assists) for the Preds, the New York Rangers, the Minnesota Wild, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Carolina Hurricanes, and the Philadelphia Flyers. With HCAP, he will wear number 14 on his back.
