NLA - The ZSC Lions will have to make do without Chris Baltisberger for the next few games, since he is off to Edmonton tomorrow to participate in the Edmonton Oilers' training camp, as Dino Kessler (Blick) reports on Twitter.

The 22-year-old forward had already taken part in the Oilers' prospect camp back in July and will now be able to show his skills at the professional camp. However, this means that the ZSC Lions will lose their leading scorer for the next three games, as he is only set to return next Tuesday.

The Lions obvioulsy had to give Baltsiberger permission to miss those games, but they saw no harm in letting him go for the next few days, quite the opposite actually tells team manager Edgar Salis the Tages Anzeiger: "He came back [from the prospect camp] with a lot of confidence and it translated to the ice. This experience will help him and with that help us too."

Chris Baltisberger had a great start to the new season, scoring two goals and three assists in three games. He is - with a total of five points - the current National League A topscorer, ex aequo with his team mates Luca Cunti and Roman Wick.
