NLA - Departed for the National Hockey League this summer after he played two seasons with Genève-Servette HC before, Canadian-Swiss forward Cody Almond might possibly return to the shores of lake Geneva.

"Together with president Hugh Quennec we are working on it," GSHC's head coach Chris McSorley confirmed to Le Tribune de Genève. "It's a matter of budget and yes, it would be great indeed to re-engage Cody. However, I do not hide the fact that chances are slim to see him coming back."

Almond had extended his contract with Genève-Servette HC for another five years until 2019 just before he moved overseas this summer, hoping for a future chance to play in the NHL.

With Minnesota Wild's AHL affiliate-team the Iowa Wild, the 25-year-old center has appeared in five games so far, without scoring any points.
