NLA - What the Berner Zeitung already reported in today's edition is now confirmed: Martin Plüss will definitely stay with SC Bern. The club informs that they have signed the 37-year-old to a two-year contract extension.

The native of Bülach will therefore stay in the capital city until the end of the 2016-17 season. It had been speculated before that the Swiss international might leave Bern in direction of either Sweden or Kloten.

Martin Plüss is having a hell of a season with SC Bern so far. In 25 games, he has scored 14 goals and added eleven assists for 25 points. Over the course of his whole career, he has played a total of 794 games and scored 590 points (255 goals, 335 assists) for KIoten and Bern.
