The 29-year-old, whose contract with Fribourg will come to an end in April 2015, hopes for an invitation to a training camp next summer and to obtain a one-way agreement with an NHL-team. In case the Dragons are going sign their current top scorer to an extension, the new contract ought to contain an NHL out-clause.

In 27 games with Gottéron so far, Pouliot was able to score a total of 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists).
