According to Andrea Torreggiani (RSI), both Nicklas Danielsson and Alexandre Giroux will get a one-game suspension by the League. The Swede had delivered a hit to the head of Giroux. The Canadian then later took revenge and swiped his stick to the back of Danielsson's knees. The Lakers forward was not able to finish the third period, but then returned for overtime.
Furthermore, the Biancoblù's Reto Kobach also left the ice injured in last night's game. He did not play in the third period. According to the same source, Kobach is dealing with a physical problem.
