NLA - As the Tribune de Genève reports, there will be several changes in Genève-Servette HC's roster for the upcoming season. Whereas Taylor Pyatt (photo) might hang up his skates, also Alexandre Picard could leave the Eagles.

As it seems, the Canadian forward Alexandre Picard won't be the only one to leave Geneva despite a running contract. Also defenseman Dario Trutmann is likely to leave Les Vernets, as well as the Canadian defenseman Paul Ranger. However, according to the same source, GSHC is expected to sign a new Swiss defenseman soon.

Forward Chris Rivera will most likely extend his contract with the Grenats and also youngster Floran Douay, 20, is about to sign a multi-year deal and stay in Geneva. In addition, "a former youth player, currently in Sweden, will probably return." Although the TdG does not reveal a name they are most likely talking about Damien Riat or Makai Holdener.

Whereas Matthew Lombardi and Tom Pyatt will definitely be part of Geneva's import-players next season, Taylor Pyatt has hinted at ending his career. The highest priority has a contract extension with top scorer Matt D'Agostini. While Alex Picard might leave in direction of Germany, two new import-players will be signed for the new season. (tme)

UPDATE According to a tweet by Patrick Andrey (Yes FM) GSHC should soon be announcing the contract extensions of not only Chris Rivera but Timothy Kast as well, who has also been put in connection with a move to HC Ambrì-Piotta.
