NHL/NLA - Swiss forward Denis Malgin is - at least from a Swiss perspective - one of the main protagonists of this year's NHL Entry Draft in June. The 18-year-old, however, sees his near future in Switzerland, as he tells La Regione.

"I want to play for the Swiss national team, although I've never talked to Glen Hanlon so far," Denis Malgin says about his goals for the upcoming year and adds: "I also want to take on a more important role with the ZSC Lions." For the 18-year-old, it is clear: "I will stay in Zurich."

"I had been drafted in the past by a youth team from overseas, but my heart told me to stay in Switzerland," Malgin explains to La Regione. "And I've never regretted it." When Malgin is going to be drafted in June, it remains to be seen what plans the respective NHL organization has for him. (tme)
