The SCL Tigers were not only successful on the sportive side of things last season, they were also able to convert their success on the ice to the economic side of things.

In today’s general assembly, the Tigers were able to present a profit of about CHF 280,000. Furthermore, they also increased their equity stakes from 55 to 70 % and repaid CHF 480,000 of the original CHF 800,000 loan to the municipality of Langnau.

It also looks like as if their success story will continue, as they were already able to sell over 4200 season tickets for the 2015-16 season – a record for the Emmental-based team.

In other news, Peter Müller who served as ad interim CEO since March 2015 will now take over the position permanently. Müller had replaced Roland Wyss, as the latter and the Tigers parted ways in February due to differences in view of the operational implementation of the goals set by the Board of Directors. (mso)
