Everyone knows about the qualities of Juraj Simek, but the forward has a bad reputation in Switzerland, although his former employers Chris McSorley (Geneva) and Roland Habisreutinger (Lugano) both deny that there has ever been any problem with the former Swiss international.
Simek himself, however, sees the problem in Lugano: "It's clear to me that these things are spread from certain people who need a scapegoat for a bad playoff-campaign," he says to the NZZ. "It was a mistake to leave Geneva. I thought I needed a new challenge. But that was wrong." (tme)
