HC Fribourg-Gottéron has announced the signing of HC Ambrì-Piotta's Benjamin Chavaillaz (photo). Furthermore, the Dragons have extended the contracts of Sebastian Schilt and Reto Lory.

Benjamin Chavaillaz has signed a two-year contract with the Dragons until the end of the 2017-18 season. The former Lausanne HC junior player is in his third year with HC Ambri-Piotta. In the current season, the defenseman has registered three points in 16 games.

Sebastian Schilt, who is playing for HCFG since the 2012-13 season, has prematurely extended his contract with the Dragons for two more years and will thus stay in Fribourg until 2019.

Additionally, netminder Reto Lory has agreed to a new one-year deal with Fribourg until the end of the 2016-17 season. (lcu)
